The rooms are beautifully maintained and airy, equipped with a balcony, a writing table, and coffee.

The property was in the heart of the city. The restaurant here was magnificent for breakfast and dinner, we both ordered wonderful dishes. It was big and easy to move around, separate bathroom.

The venue was overall clean and the staff were top-class. The room was normal double, had magnificent views and featured complimentary Wi-Fi and a phone. We had an extensive continental breakfast with a great selection of meals.  

The location was tranquil and comfortable: boutiques and shops were within walking distance. The restaurant was really nice with friendly staff here, I had freshly cooked dishes.

Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean place with top-class staff at the reception desk. A residential area, tranquil location near shops and restaurants Breakfast, the nearest restaurant and well tended gardens. Honestly no complaints.  

The place was luxurious and had gentle and brilliantly friendly staff at the reception desk, loved the stay. It was airy, big size and with a balcony looking into beautiful garden.

This was my 2nd stay, they offered junior suite with very comfortable beds.

Very central location along with rich breakfasts. 25 km from the airport. Extremely comfy bed, normal double room with a view of garden.

The stuff are gentle, the hotel is unique and with beautiful location short walk to Funchal for 10 nights, the hill above Funchal and the lovely garden. Huge room with great views, has free Wi-Fi.

Overall it was a fantastic stay for 12 nights. The staff were good and charming and the pool area was heated. Exceptional breakfast, loved it.

Big size room with a mini-bar and coffee/tea making machines; and with Colonial decor. Unbeatable, tranquil location in Funchal, so close to restaurant and housekeeping, transport and centre of Funchal. Nearby Beef & Wines - great place 

Possibly the best and wonderful stay for 12 nights. The brilliantly friendly staff working throughout the hotel. Normal double and huge units with a balcony over looking the garden, free toiletries plus lovely big
